NOVEMBER T-DAY LEADS INTO HOLIDAY SEASON

Volunteers needed on first Saturday of the month

BELLINGHAM, Wa. – More than 40 projects are currently listed on the Together We Can Change the World web site, most of which are scheduled for the first Saturday of November.

Together We Can Change the World Day, T-Day for short, brings together individuals wanting to make a difference and organizations in need of people to complete community service projects on the first Saturday of every month. It’s a complimentary service offered by Together We Can Change the World, Inc. through its website at www.togetherwecanchangetheworldday.com.

The web site provides a common place for individuals and organizations to go seek out and input local projects. Projects ranging from cleaning up parks and sorting donated clothes to building homes for low-income families can be found from Maine to Hawaii and lots of places in between.

"Together We Can Change the World Day is on a mission,” said company CEO/Founder Ginny Dye. “This involves much more than just seeking out money. In its quest to help people change the world around them, the company offers additional free resources through its website such as a weekly newsletter entitled Be the Difference along with free E-cards and Prints. The company has also created a publishing division to distribute its 101 Ways to Change the World book series.

TWCCTW’s sister company, Shop For Charity Day, helps organizations on the funding end with its on-line shopping mall. The mall at www.shopforcharityday.com is by far the largest on the Internet and offers the most generous cash back program. It features over 1,000 well-known and lesser-known retailers, which typically pay out much higher percentages than the high-profile stores.

Every organization that wants one is also eligible to have its own customized mall at no charge. Shop For Charity Day branded mall project managers work with each organization to provide a mall tailored to that organizations specific needs. Shop For Charity Day maintains the mall at no charge as well.
